Introduction

Course introduction
There are only three types of companies: Data-driven companies, data-driven companies, and dying companies. Silicon Valley firmly believes in this. Even if you don’t believe in such a black-and-white future, leveraging data already divides companies into winners and losers. As early as 2016, a McKinsey study found that “data driven organizations are 23 times more likely to retain those customers, and 19 times as likely to be profitable as a result.”

Artificial intelligence significantly increases the competitive advantage of data-capable companies over data-capable ones. Artificial intelligence is data.

Despite its name, artificial intelligence is not intelligent, but it is already a very effective way to solve many of the business problems that were considered unresolved 5-10 years ago – if data describing the business problem is available.

Data-capable companies win over data-poor ones. Likewise, experts and managers who know how to take advantage of the potential of data such as artificial intelligence will beat their colleagues with only traditional strengths.

The training gives experts and supervisors a basic understanding of artificial intelligence and the ability to consider its effects in their own operations.
